We’re delighted to be proud partners of Buxton Water and their new campaign with Mind. BUXTON Water and Mind share a mission to promote better physical and mental wellbeing across the nation, through exercise and hydration.

BUXTON Water is proud to support Sweat and Tears and will donate £100,000* to Mind to continue its effort in mental health to help build a resilient Britain.

We’re put together 6 daily habits to help you boost your mindset and help you enhance your physical and mental wellbeing.

Stay hydrated:

Drinking enough water is important for your physical and mental health. Aim to drink at least 8-10 cups of water each day to stay hydrated. (A tough one but when you do it, it’s an accomplishment)

Forest therapy:

Also known as Shinrin-yoku, forest therapy is a Japanese practice that involves spending time in nature to improve mental health. It has been shown to lower stress levels, boost mood, and increase feelings of well-being. To try forest therapy, you can plan a nature walk, go camping, or simply spend time sitting outside in a natural setting.

Try to be present in the moment and take in the sights, smells, and sounds around you to fully immerse yourself in the experience.

Practice mindful movement:

Engage in some form of physical activity each day, such as yoga, stretching, or walking. This can help reduce stress, boost your mood, and improve overall well-being.

Creative expression:

Engaging in creative activities such as painting, writing, or playing music can help reduce stress and boost mental health. Consider setting aside time each day for a creative pursuit, even if it's just for a few minutes. This can help improve your mood and increase feelings of fulfillment and self-expression.

Eat a healthy diet:

Eating a well-balanced diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins can provide your body and mind with the nutrients they need to function at their best.

Be kind to your body:

Show your body some love by engaging in self-care activities such as taking a bath, getting a massage, or practicing gentle stretches.

Take a few moments each day to focus on the things you are grateful for. This can help shift your mindset towards positivity and improve your overall outlook on life.

Join the #SweatAndTears movement and your selfies can make a difference in raising awareness for mental health.

More people are discovering the benefits of drinking the daily recommended amount of water and being active on their mental well-being. Life’s twists and turns come our way at any given time, which is why BUXTON, in partnership with Mind, are promoting a healthy mental and physical well-being.
